康厚祥，博士，副研究员，1982年6月出生，湖南新化人，高级程序员。
2011年获中国农业科学院农学博士学位，2011年-2013年在wnsr888威尼斯从事博士后研究，2011年-2012年在美国俄亥俄州立大学从事博士后访问学者研究。2013年至今在wnsr888威尼斯工作。研究方向为稻瘟菌与寄主互作的生物学及机制，包括稻瘟菌群体遗传学和功能基因组学、稻瘟菌灾变的分子机制、水稻稻瘟病数量抗性基因的挖掘及其抗性机制等。
先后主持国家自然科学基金项目3项，作为项目骨干参加国家重大9778818威尼斯官网计划课题一项、自然科学基金国际合作项目一项、自然科学基金面上项目和青年基金项目共4项。 在 Nature genetics , DNA research , Theoretical and Applied Genetics 等遗传学经典期刊和 Plant Biotechlology Journal , M olecular P lant P athology , Rice , Phytopathology 等植物学专业期刊上发表SCI论文18篇，在中国水稻科学等中文专业期刊发表论文共6篇，申请国家专利2项，参与著作1部。
